We would like our content on the GAG website to be accessible to all our customers, including to those who haven’t learnt German as their mother tongue. We will now explain how you can change the language settings so that you can read our website content in your preferred language.

This is how you can change the language in your browser

Depending on the browser, there are minor differences in the language settings. For you to understand our website contents quickly and easily, we have prepared a short step-by-step guide for the Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge browsers.

Step 1

Chrome: Open our GAG website in Google Chrome. 

Chrome for mobile: Open our GAG website in the Google Chrome browser of your mobile phone.

Firefox: Open our GAG website in Mozilla Firefox. 

Edge: Open our GAG website in Microsoft Edge.  

Safari: Open our GAG website in Apple Safari.

Safari for mobile: Open our GAG website in the Safari browser of your mobile phone.

Step 2

Chrome: Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner near the search bar. 

Chrome for mobile: At the top right, click the 3 dots to access the menu selection.

Firefox: Click on the menu and select “Settings >> General” and go to “Search for more languages” in the Language section.

Edge: Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner near the search bar and select “Settings”.

Safari: Click “Display” in the menu bar and select Translation.

Safari for mobile: Open our GAG website in the Safari browser of your mobile phone.

Step 3

Chrome: Select “Translate” from the dropdown menu. 

Chrome for mobile: Select the “Translate” menu item.

Firefox: Select your desired language and click “Add". Click on “OK” to save your setting.

Edge: Select the languages from the “Settings” list and add your preferred language.

Safari: Select your preferred languages and add them.

Safari for mobile: Select the rectangle with two lines to the left near the URL.

Step 4

Chrome: Select the desired language by clicking the three dots (translation options) near the detected language “German”.

Chrome for mobile: After you have selected the desired language, the website will be translated into this selected language.

Firefox: In the menu, click “Setting >> General” and select your desired language in the General section. Restart Firefox.

Edge: After the language has been added, select “…” near the language and then the “Display Microsoft Edge in this language” option.

Safari: After you have added the language, you can translate the website into your desired language under the Display and Translation menu.

Safari for mobile: After you select “Translate into…”, the website will be translated into the selected language.
